Kingdom Kids’ curriculum is theme based. It incorporates learning through play and teacher directed activities. While playing, children develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. Children have the opportunity to learn and interact with other children throughout the day. The children learn cooperative skills, fine motor skills, develop independence and communication skills. Our teachers provide planned teacher directed activities to help introduce new themes and concepts. These short, structured teacher directed activities will incorporate reading, science, math, arts and crafts, Spanish and music into each child’s daily learning.
Spiritual development is very important at Kingdom Kids. The children participate in group chapel. Chapel includes a time of worship songs, a Bible lesson, scripture and prayer. Children learn to live out Jesus’s word each day.
Parents are invited to meet with teachers for conferences to discuss assessments, developmental milestones, questions, or concerns. Parents may also request conferences at any time throughout the year. At Kingdom Kids teachers and parents are partners in their child’s educational development.
